Ordering

Commissions

If you wish to commission us to hand- make a customised piece of jewellery, please contact us on 0800 970 6900 (freephone) or by email via our 'Contact' link. Once we have determined your exact requirements, we will then prepare stones for you to choose from and follow up with a quote for the cost of making your piece of jewellery. Once all the specifications have been agreed, we will then ask for a returnable deposit of 25% of the total cost of the item. On receipt of the deposit we will start work on your item. Under normal circumstances we will endeavour to have your jewellery item finished within 14 days. Once we have completed your piece of jewellery, we will invite you to our studio to view your finished jewellery and check the size fits you perfectly. If any adjustments need to be made they can be completed while you wait. Your piece of jewellery will then be presented to you in a display box of polished wood.

 

 

Ordering Jewellery Online

To order an item of jewellery from our catalogue, just click the 'Add To Cart' button. If ordering a ring you can select a size before adding the item to your cart. Once you have finished choosing your items, follow the links to the checkout pages. You should then fill in your details as requested. Your jewellery will be packaged in the same way as commissioned orders. If you are not sure of your ring size, contact us first and we will post you a Ring Sizer Gauge to measure your finger.

 

 

Ordering Gems Online

There are hundreds of gems available for you to choose from in our online shop. You can order them in the same way as the jewellery, by clicking on the 'Add To Cart' button. We can despatch your gem in a gem display box or if you wish, we can fashion your gem into a stunning piece of jewellery. Your gem comes with a full money-back no quibble guarantee.

 

 

Lab Reports

For a nominal fee we can arrange for a Lab Report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory Ltd. This particular gem lab is the choice of many top West End jewellers and auction houses. If you prefer we are more than happy to arrange a Lab Report with a lab of your choice.

A Lab Report is not a certificate as such, it is in fact an opinion given by a fully qualified gemmologist. On a Lab Report you can expect to find details of the stone's identification, it's size, weight, whether or not any evidence of treatment was observed and an opinion of origin.


If you wish to have a Lab Report arranged for your gem, you can select the option before adding your gem to the basket. Please contact us for the turnaround time required to arrange a lab report.

 

 

Payments

We can accept payment in a variety of ways. The first option is to pay by credit or debit card using our secure checkout pages. You can also choose the PayPal option if you prefer.

We can also accept payment by personal cheque. Should you choose this method, we will send you an invoice for the full amount due. Upon receipt of your cheque we shall prepare your order. If you have ordered a ring we shall size it to your specification. Once your cheque has cleared (usually 5 working days), we shall despatch your order by Royal Mail Special Delivery ®.

We can also accept payment by Bankers Draft, bank transfer or cash. Should you choose to use these methods of payment, you can contact us on 0800 970 6900 to make the necessary arrangements.

 

 

Delivery

All our items are despatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery ® unless other arrangements have been made. Special Delivery ® guarantees delivery by 13:00pm the next working day and will require a signature on delivery. We will provide you with a tracking number for you item. All items will be despatched once payment has been received and cleared in full.
