	Un-heated sapphires are extremely rare and the exception rather than the rule. In the past two decades Vietnam has become another important source of rubies and sapphires. The stones found in Vietnam are generally bright and show good colour. Vietnamese stones are often confused with Burmese rubies and sapphires. Upon request, we can supply a lab report from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, to accompany this sapphire.
